Tax Implications for Angel Investors
NM Angels is hosting a practical webinar on the tax side of angel investing, led by an experienced tax and securities attorney. Topics include how different investment structures affect tax outcomes, key tax tools like QSBS and Section 1244, loss harvesting strategies, and recordkeeping best practices. Coding as Performance: Live Coding Bootcamp
STEMarts Lab is launching New Mexico’s first live coding bootcamp series for youth ages 14-25. This first session focuses on visualizing galaxy data from the James Webb Space Telescope, teaching participants to transform scientific data into live coding performances combining light and sound. Students will learn from LANL astrophysicist Kelcey Davis and professional live coder Alexandra Cardenas. An optional intensive remote lab runs January 24-February 27 on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:00 PM MT.
